Arsenal

Potentially losing Aaron Ramsey should prompt Arsenal into targeting these 3

It’s been a great window for Arsenal fans so far in the Transfer Tavern this summer.

The club have singed Bern Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and are apparently close to finalising moves for Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.

With all the positivity surrounding the club, what has gone under is the fact that Aaron Ramsey has not yet signed a new deal. The midfielder was one of Arsenal’s best player’s last season amid a year of low points but only has one year left on his current deal. Arsenal surely cannot have another season with contract negotiations hanging over them.

If Ramsey does decide to leave the club, here are three players the club target…

Mateo Kovacic

The Real Madrid midfielder has admitted that he needs to leave the club this summer in order to play more regular first-team football.

The Croatian midfielder has shown flashes of his talent since joining from Inter Milan but has since struggled to find a place in a starting XI and has been a constant squad player, although an important at one at that. Available for a cut-price fee, the Croatian could be a valuable addition to the squad.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek

One of the best players to come out of the Chelsea academy, Loftus-Cheek looks set to be sent out on another loan with Crystal Palace interested in signing him.

Incredibly gifted for someone of his size, Loftus-Cheek could be a powerhouse in Arsenal’s midfield. He’s great with the ball at his feet but does need to improve defensively either way, Arsenal might be able to tempt to make the move for guaranteed first-team football.

Piotr Zielinski

A star in the making. It will take a mammoth fee to even bring Napoli to the negotiating table but it might just be worth it.

Valued at £28.8 million by Transfermarkt, the Polish international has been likened to Kevin De Bruyne by in limbo boss, Sarri.  If Arsenal sign him, they’ve got a future world-class midfielder who can score and create.

Which one would you take Gunners fans?
