Premier League Big Boys (And Liverpool) In Four Way Tussle For The ‘New Messi’

Rumours are afoot today that Sir Alex Ferguson is ready to splash £16.5 million of his transfer kitty on German wonderkid, Marko Marin.  If Fergie can beat off competition from Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool, he will sign one of Europe hottest prospects.

Marin, Bosnian by birth, has expressed a desire to move to the Premiership after only moving to Werder Bremen in 2009.  A winger by trade, Marin has not only drawn interest from Man Utd, but also from Arsene Wenger, Harry Redknapp and Roy Hodgson, all of whom desire the youngster’s versatility and goals from midfield.

With his contract set to expire in 2013, there is sure to be a four way scrap in the summer for the highly rated fleet-footed winger.  He has declared he wants to move to a bigger club, but which one is biggest?  Should he replace Giggs, Walcott, Bale or er, Ryan Babel?
