Premier League club eying move for Arsenal goalkeeper

Wojciech SzczesnyThe Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are gathered at the dartboard discussing reports linking them with a move for an experienced Premier League goalkeeper.

Metro is reporting that Everton are ready to make a move for Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, once his loan expires at Roma at the end of the season.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez is in the market to bring a new goalkeeper in during the off season, with Tim Howard expected to leave Goodison Park at the end of the campaign.

The Polish shot stopper will be eager to carry on playing first team football and with both Petr Cech and David Ospina ahead of him in the pecking order at the Emirates, he seems to be surplus to requirements.

With Roma not looking to make a permanent move for the keeper, a move to Everton could be the change of scene the keeper requires.

The Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are delighted to be linked with Szczesny and would be delighted if the player was part of the squad next season.

Arsenal fans, would you sell Szczesny to a Premier League rival? Let us know in the comments below!
