Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern almost fell of their bar stools in shock, after it was revealed their newest hero is set to depart for a Premier League rival.
Sinclair became a hero last Friday with his late equaliser to save Liverpool from the embarrassment of a third-round FA Cup exit, securing his side a 2-2 draw against Exeter City which earned the lower-league minnows a replay at Anfield.
Whether Sinclair will be around to appear in the replay remains to be seen though, as Quique Sanchez Flores wants to strengthen his Hornets strike-force with the addition of the 20-year-old; who’d compete with Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney for regular football.
Sinclair is Liverpool’s youngest ever player after making his debut in 2012, aged just 16 years and six days old, but regular striker signings have blocked his path to the first-team.
Our landlord believes Sinclair would be a great signing for Watford, particular if the Hornets lose Ighalo or Deeney this summer.
Liverpool fans, should you keep this man at Anfield? Let us know in the comments below!
