The Transfer Tavern landlord have got some news to interest Leicester City and Watford fans, as they are both chasing Chelsea forward Loic Remy and have made offers in excess of £11million.
Leicester are thought to be in pole position to land the Blues striker although Watford have matched the offer made by the current Premier League leaders, as reported by The Telegraph.
Claudio Ranieri has made Remy his top priority as The Foxes now switch their targets for the season towards success and adding firepower to help England forward Jamie Vardy is the focus.
Remy is anxious to leave Stamford Bridge as he sees his first team opportunities limited especially as Chelsea have signed Pato on a season long loan deal.
The Chelsea forward is expected to leave before the window closes but where he will end up is still unclear as Leicester and Watford battle for the French international’s signature.
Remy 29 has just played 16 times this season with the majority being substitute appearances for Chelsea and is clearly not in any future plans at the club.
Have your say….Who would like to see Remy at their club? Can Leicester win the Premier League if they add more depth to their squad? Would Remy arrive in Watford assure survival? Leave your thoughts in the box below.
