It is not a secret that Liverpool are looking for a goalkeeper, however, the fans in the Transfer Tavern will not be seeing one particular man arrive this summer.
Despite the mistakes made by Loris Karius in the Champions League final, the Reds have always known that they have needed a top-quality shot-stopper to come into the side and give them a solid foundation to build their team on.
The German did not cover himself in glory, whilst Simon Mingolet has struggled at the best of times to hold down the number one spot at Anfield, which has led to Jurgen Klopp’s side looking for a new man.
However, according to Kristof Terreur, Thibaut Courtois does not appear to fancy a switch to Merseyside, amidst his future with Chelsea becoming uncertain.

The journalist, who covers all things for Belgium players in the Premier League, has also stressed that Liverpool have not made any contact for the player, but it does not appear that he would be willing to head north.
Liverpool have been linked with a number of goalkeepers over the last few months, with it intensifying since last week’s Champions League final.
The likes of Alisson Becker and Gianluigi Donnarumma have both been linked with moves, although they are expected to face tough competition for either of them, however, it does not appear that Courtois is a viable option at the moment.
The Belgium international is no doubt one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, however, Chelsea may try and get a huge fee for him, which could result in the Reds looking elsewhere.
