Premier League manager insists that top Spurs target is not for sale this summer

The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are still dejected after their bid for the Premier League title was derailed by West Ham United last night.

The Hammers stunned Spurs with a spirited performance to notch a 1-0 win at the London Stadium and hand the incentive to Chelsea in the title race.

This is the second year in a row where Spurs have come so close yet so far and Mauricio Pochettino will already be thinking ahead to some summer transfer targets to get his side to go one better next term.

One Premier League star who is reportedly on his list is Bournemouth ace Josh King.

The Norway international has really stepped up his game this year, scoring 15 goals to help Bournemouth to the comfort of mid-table.

Tottenham are plotting a swoop for the 25-year-old, who is enjoying the best spell of his career.

However, Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has issued a hands off warning to Spurs, according to The Daily Star.

Howe wants to keep his best players on the south coast and will resist any offers for the former Manchester United academy product.

Tottenham may have to look at other targets if Bournemouth are stubborn and don’t let King leave.

Spurs fans – can you still land King? Let us know your thoughts below…
