There’s a huge season on the horizon for Antonio Conte and Chelsea as the Italian looks to build on last season’s title success down at Stamford Bridge.
The former Juventus chief arrived with a little bit of doubt over his head as to his ability to manage in England but he’s more than proven he’s up to the job of leading one of the biggest clubs in the world.
His Premier League win was absolutely superb and moving forward, he’ll be keen to show that the win was no fluke in the slightest.
But there’s one man that might not be a part of first-team plans moving forward at the Bridge is young midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah.
The youngster, who has come through the ranks at the Bridge, made 15 appearances for the Blues last season but made only one start in the Premier League.
Now 22-years-old, the English U21 international will be harbouring first-team dreams by now and if can’t get into the first-team, a move away could be on the cards.
And according to ESPN, a move to Leicester City, Swansea or Watford could be on the cards this summer, with the trio all tracking the progress of the young midfielder.
Joining either of these teams would surely guarantee more first-team football going forward and it’s certainly something to think about moving forward for the youngster.
Chelsea fans, would you be sad to see Chalobah go? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
