Prime forward target rules out Manchester United transfer

muller.jpgManchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have had their dreams shattered today, after one of their biggest European targets ruled out a move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils, and Louis Van Gaal in particular, has been targeting Bayern Munich superstar Thomas Muller for a while, with the Premier League giants keen to add the World Cup winner to their roster as soon as possible.

However, Muller has ruled out a move to England and said the possibility of joining United is not up for discussion. Speaking to The Daily Mail ahead of Bayern’s Champions League clash with Arsenal, the forward said:

‘There are never any guarantees in football but I do have a four-year contract and when I go on the pitch and hear fans shout my name, that’s something special.’

‘The club, as Rummenigge showed, denied it straight away, so it’s not up for discussion,’

Our United regulars at the bar are gutted as they believe Muller would make them one of Europe’s most feared sides.
