‘Proper baller’ – A lot of Arsenal fans would love to sign this left-field World Cup star

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been waxing lyrical over Japan’s star winger, Takashi Inui, after the Real Betis star scored a superb strike to put the Asian side 2-0 up against Belgium yesterday. The Blue Samurai’s lost 3-2 to Belgium after a superb fightback from Roberto Martinez side, although the Arsenal fans are still keen on Inui after his amazing performances this summer.

Arsenal have done some good business under Unai Emery so far this summer. The Gunners have signed Bernd Leno, Stephan Lichtsteiner and Sokratis Papastathopoulos, with the latter being announced yesterday. This summer could get even better for the fans who might soon have the Uruguayan midfielder, Lucas Torreira, announced soon as he nears the completion of his move from Sampdoria.

The Gunners will be hoping that Emery can put some money aside after the Torreira deal as they all want to Inui join the club. The Japanese winger would come cheap, he’s only valued at £4.5 million by Transfermarkt at the age of 30. However, it could be a much harder signing to complete than the fans think as Inui agreed a deal to sign for Real Betis from Eibar this summer on a free, it’s unlikely that Betis will be keen to sell him.

The Arsenal fans in the Tavern would love to sign Inui, despite the complications, and knowing he would be cheap would make the deal even sweeter.
