There are few murmurs in the Football Transfer Tavern today after Paris Saint Germain striker and Everton transfer target Guillaume Hoarau indicated that he wants to leave Parc Des Princes as a free agent next summer.
The French star has spent the last four seasons playing in Paris but with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, he feels the time has come to take on a new challenge, possibly in England.
Hoarau, who has been capped eight times by France, joined PSG from Le Havre in 2008, admits that he has a big decision to make in the near future with Tottenham also rumoured to be interested in the forward.
He told Sky Sports: “My contract expires in June and I want to play week in, week out,” he said.
“There are teams interested in me so I will make my decision known very soon.
“For the moment I want to help PSG.”
