Leicester City have been a mixed bag this season as they seem to have dropped off the pace recently after an impressive start to the campaign.
The Foxes would have had their sights set on challenging for a European place prior to the start of the season, but they may have to reconsider as they’ve not enjoyed the best of runs in recent times. Although, it looks as if Claude Puel is already eyeing one change in January, as according to the Leicester Mercury, Puel is considering recalling Harvey Barnes from his loan spell at West Bromwich Albion.
Claude Puel says there is a possibility he could recall Harvey Barnes from his loan spell at West Brom when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 20-year-old joined the Baggies on a season-long loan and has been tearing up the Championship with a number of goals and assists to his name.
“We will see,”
“Of course I follow Barnes, I follow Filip Benkovic (on loan at Celtic) and everyone on loan. It is important to look at their performance. We will see what happens in January.”
Harvey Barnes has been the standout performer in the Championship so far this season, with a recall back to the Premier League being just rewards for the youngsters.
Indeed, Leicester City could really profit from having him in their side from January onwards as he would be a key player in an exciting attacking line that consists of Demarai Gray and James Maddison.Like what the TT have on offer? Sign up for more notifications!
