All the Southampton fans at the Transfer Tavern will be having a celebratory drink tonight after the news broke earlier that another new face will be joining the South Coast club this summer.
The Saints have signed Danish midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich in a deal reportedly worth £12.8 million.
The promising Dane found first team chances hard to come by with the Bavarian giants and even struggled to break into the first team picture during his loan spells at Augsburg and Schalke.

However, he represents something of a marquee signing for the Saints, having landed one of the most highly rated prospects on the continent.
He completed his medical on Monday and became the second player to join Southampton this summer following Nathan Redmond, the first under the reign of recently appointed Frenchman Claude Puel.
So what do you think Saints fans? Are you excited about this hot young prospect? Is £12.8 million too much on an unproven player? Tell us your thoughts below…
