Sky Sports are reporting that Stoke City are set to make a bid for Bolton midfielder Matt Taylor.
The former Portsmouth player has struggled to secure a first team spot in Owen Coyles’s side and could look to make a move to the Midlands.
Tony Pulis already has star man Matthew Etherington on the left wing but is looking to add some competition down the left flank. Matty Taylor’s versatility would give the Stoke boss the opportunity to change things up a bit and add some flair to the midfield.
The left winger has a lot of experience in the Premier League and would be a great acquisition to the FA Cup finalist’s set up.
The 29-year-old only has one year left on his current deal with Bolton Wanderers, meaning that The Potters might only have to make a bid of around £1Million to lure the midfielder to the Brittania.
