Crouch, Jones and Sidibe are about to be literally overshadowed at the Brittania stadium.
Pulis’ Stoke City are well known for their physical presence. At 6ft1, Cameron Jerome is the smallest of his forwards at the Brittania. Kenwyne Jones, Mamady Sidibe, and the elongated Peter Crouch are all worrying for any centerback to mark. But those De Lap throws (or Shotton cannons) are about to get even deadlier, as they have handed a trial to a real human giant, Michael Uchebo.
At 6ft 8, this guy could pose to be even more of a handful. Not only tall, but immensely strong, travelling to the Brittania stadium could become a manager’s worst nightmare – pending a successful trial period.
The VVV-Venlo man has far from an impressive goal-scoring record at 5 in 37 games, but his presence alone could trigger more spaces for Etherington and co to go on the rampage. One thing is for sure, I don’t think anyone is looking forward to their first aerial challenge against this guy!
NB: Just to put things in perspective, this guy is even taller than the retired monster Czech forward Jan Koller…
