Q.P.R are not messing when it comes to battling with the big guns and already appear to be punching above their weight as they look to land England International Joe Cole.
After 15 long years away from top flight football and with the financial billionaires Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal with the funds, it’s certainly exciting times ahead for Rangers fans who believe they are here to stay.
The Daily mail have claimed Rangers are looking to take Cole next season on a loan deal after he had an abysmal first season at Liverpool. They have penned Cole in as there number one target to be the possible replacement for Adel Taarabt as his future is uncertain.
The problem is the London club are going to have to come to terms with Liverpool over the England flop’s staggering £90,000 wage bill, and considering what Cole has offered the scousers this season it’s unlikely they will want to fund one pound of that.
Cole signed last summer from Chelsea on a free and has made 17 disappointing appearances with two measly goals plus being sent off on his debut.
At the age of 29 the next move could prove vital in his career and with Q.P.R set for a massive clear out, plus they are newly recruiting, looking at the likes of Jermaine Jenas, Jimmy Bullard, Lee Bowyer and many more.
So could Joe Cole be a part of the revolution at Loftus Road… Well that’s if the owners aren’t as tight in the transfer market as they were refusing a parade to celebrate winning the league.
