Everyone in the Football Transfer Tavern agrees it wouldn’t be deadline day without a bit of business from Harry Redknapp.
Sources at Sky Sports reckon the QPR boss is set to make a move for one of his former players.
The Premier League new boys are understood to have made an offer for Tottenham’s Brazilian midfielder Sandro who has dropped down the pecking order at White Hart Lane following the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino.
Sandro is yet to feature in a competitive match for Tottenham this season, and may be keen to move across London in order to play regular first team football.
Redknapp was in charge when the 25-year-old midfielder arrived at White Hart Lane from Brazilian side Nacional in 2010.
Sandro has since gone on to make over 100 appearances for Spurs but could be on the move before tonight’s 11pm deadline, with Pochettino keen to strengthen his midfield as well.
