According to ‘The People’, unsettled Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is now this winter’s No1 target for QPR.
While Neil Warnock looks like he would prefer a loan move for the 29-year-old, Tottenham would prefer to make it a permanent one. Since the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor, Pavlyuchenko has found himself to have drifted down the pecking order as third choice. He seems to be out of Redknapp’s plans and the club would have no intention of blocking a move should the right offer come along.
Pavlyuchenko has been linked with a number of clubs recently with the likes of Roma, Arsenal, Lokomotiv and Spartak Moscow amongst others all enquiring about the Russian.
Warnock has not been shy from expressing his views over possible new transfers, despite bolstering hisattack this summer with D.J. Campbell and Jay Bothroyd joining the club. However the two have yet to make an impact so far this season with only the former netting in once. If Warnock were to secure the Russian Striker’s services it would definitely add a bit of class and experience up front.
