And, according to The Telegraph, Harry Redknapp is already working his Del Boy-esque magic in the transfer window by signing a player with plenty of Premier League experience.
Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is set to put-pen-to-paper on a move to Loftus Road over the coming days.
Former West Ham United boss Redknapp also knows Ferdinand really well having given him his debut as a teenager at Upton Park.
Ferdinand was released by Manchester United at the end of last season but the Hoops look set to give him another go in the Premier League.
Redknapp revealed: “Rio has agreed to join us and we’re hopeful of getting that one over the line when he gets back from the World Cup.
“I can’t foresee any problems with it and we’d be delighted if we can get it done soon.
“He’s been a player at the top of the list since he left Manchester United and he would give the whole place a lift with his quality and experience.”
The R’s also look like tying up the signature of Cardiff City’s England international Steven Caulker in the coming days.
