According to the Mirror, QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists that Adel Taarabt has the green light to leave the club, but on one condition, that the buyer must pay what the club demand.
The Moroccan struggled to secure a first team place whilst they were previously in the Premier League but it turns out this time around, he is still in the same situation.
He has been set back this season by a string of niggling ankle injuries, leaving him with an uphill task to break into the first team.
The 25-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan to AC Milan and has been linked with a return to Italy, with the players’ agent insisting that he has been given the green light to leave the club this January.
But Redknapp said: “Adel’s always had the green light if somebody wants to pay the money the club wants for him. If they don’t pay the money, he stays here.
“But I need him fit, I want to get him fit, he’s a good player, a real talent, I just want to get him out on the training ground every day, get him fit and playing for QPR, that’s my only interest at the moment.”
