QPR to get their hands on former Chelsea ace this summer?

Samuel Eto'o Queens Park Rangers fans in the Football Transfer Tavern could be set to sign one of the illustrious names in African football.

As according to The Mirror, Queens Park Rangers gaffer Harry Redknapp is plotting a deal to bring Samuel Eto’o to Loftus Road.

The 34-year-old Cameroon international spent last season at Chelsea and it is thought former West Ham United boss Redknapp is keen on him remaining in West London.

And now reports suggest that Eto’o’s agent is flying into London to try to thrash out an agreement with the newly-promoted side.

Redknapp sees Eto’o as the perfect addition to his side as he can offer both Premier League goals and experience.

A one-year deal is said to be on the table for the former Inter Milan forward and they hope he will accept as the Hoops look to survive their first season back in the top flight.

However the Cameroonian’s wages could create quite the stumbling block for the Loftus Road hierarchy.

The striker will now have to agree to QPR’s new pay structure if he wants to continue his career in West London.

Eto’o had previously hinted at a move to Arsenal but it seems that Arsene Wenger is not interested in making a move for the attacker.
