Burnley will be looking to enjoy a similar campaign to the last as they managed to secure a European place and finished in seventh position.
The Clarets kick off their Premier League campaign tomorrow as they take on Southampton at St Mary’s. Although, the Lancashire club has had to deal with some transfer interest recently, as according to West London Sport, Championship side Queens Park Rangers are interested in taking Nakhi Wells on loan.
Burnley are willing to loan out striker Wells and Queens Park Rangers are among a number of clubs interested.
He has been unable to establish himself as a first-team player in the Premier League, so a loan move away to the Championship would be sensible for the striker.
Indeed, the Clarets already have the likes of Sam Vokes, Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes in their ranks, so it comes as no surprise that Wells is surplus to requirements.
The Clarets are interested in loaning Nakhi Wells out this summer so interest from Queens Park Rangers will be seen as a positive thing. Indeed, the striker doesn’t seem to have any sort of a future at Turf Moor, with a move down to the Championship preparing him for what is to come.
Sean Dyche will be focused on enjoying a positive start to the campaign against Southampton tomorrow, with a spot in Europe being the main aim for the Clarets.
