Ruben Neves has been a very highly-rated figure in the Transfer Tavern for a few years now…
Having burst onto the scene as a teenager, he has really improved over the last few years, and according to A Bola, his exploits have not gone unnoticed.
As reported in A Bola, that both Chelsea and Liverpool remain keen on the midfielder, who is just 20-years-old, but now Juventus have also entered the fray. Indeed, it appears as though a queue is beginning to form for Neves, and that is certainly with good reason.
Though he fell out of favour last season, Neves’ form since his arrival in the Porto first team has been, for the most part, impressive. A defensive midfielder by trade, his tackling and passing are particularly efficient, serving excellently as the balance between midfield and attack.
At 20-years-old, he is also a player with bags of potential for the future, and so there is no doubting that with time, he could well become a star in the heart of the midfield for any number of top European sides.
A move to both Chelsea and Liverpool would certainly make sense, too, with both clubs looking to ramp up their midfield options ahead of next season. Antonio Conte is likely looking for a new partner for N’Golo Kante, whilst Liverpool’s midfield squad depth needs improving given their return to the Champions League next season. With Juventus in the hunt now, though, it will be anything but easy to tempt Neves to the Premier League.
