Newcastle United will be looking to bounce back from their defeat against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend when they face Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Magpies will head down to Wales to meet one of the Premier League’s newest sides in successive lunchtime fixtures.
Rafa Benitez will be looking for his team to record a positive result against the Bluebirds, and according to a match preview by Sky Sports, he could be set to hand a number of full debuts out to some of his stars.
Salomon Rondon and Yoshinori Muto both featured against Spurs when they came on in the second half from the bench, however, the Spaniard may decide to use them from the beginning of the match.
Federico Fernandez, Fabian Schar and Ki Sung-yueng could also make their debuts for their new side after they did not appear in the defeat to Tottenham.
Two men that will not be able to make an appearance against Cardiff are Florian Lejeune, who had knee surgery during the summer and DeAndre Yedlin, who suffered a minor knee problem against Spurs that forced him off the pitch.
Newcastle will want to bounce back quickly and will feel Cardiff could be the perfect opportunity to do so.
The Magpies could hand out several debuts for the clash in Wales and it could be a great chance for some of them to get Premier League football under their belts.
However, there are no easy games in the top-flight and Benitez will be well aware, as he will hope he does not see his side slip up against one of the recently promoted sides.
