Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have had so much to shout about in terms of their youth players, but a reasonably unknown name from their ranks has been doing the rounds in the Transfer Tavern this evening.
HITC Sport report that Spurs youngster Dominic Ball, currently on loan at Rangers, is a target for a number of English sides after impressing for the Glasgow giants this season.
He was excellent in the recent Old Firm meeting with Celtic, showing a vast amount of assurance in a defensive midfield role before having the versatility to drop back into defence.
The 20-year old is highly rated by his parent at White Hart Lane, but Rangers are said to be hopeful on extending his stay another season following their promotion back into the top flight of Scottish football.
Spurs have plenty of cover in central midfield as it is, with Eric Dier emerging as one of the players of the season in that particular berth.
It is reported that they may well be open to the possibility of farming the England under-20 international out once again.
