Rashford and Pogba will crush Liverpool’s title dreams today

Manchester United have been one of the standout performers in recent times in the Premier League as they continue to strive towards securing a top four spot.

The Red Devils managed to get the better of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in their FA Cup fifth round clash last time out, so they’ll be full of confidence heading into today’s game.

Ole Gunnar Solskajer’s side will welcome bitter rivals Liverpool to Old Trafford later on today in their next Premier League fixture. The Reds haven’t exactly been at their best in recent times but they still find themselves firmly in the race for the title, so this could prove to be the Manchester club’s biggest test yet.

However, with United looking inspired in recent times, these TWO Man United players will crush Liverpool’s title dreams today…

MARCUS RASHFORD

Marcus Rashford has developed into one of the best attackers in the Premier League this season, having produced an incredible nine goals and seven assists up until this point.

He managed to impress in the English capital last time out as he constantly drew fouls in threatening areas and always posed a threat before his cross for Paul Pogba that made it 2-0.

Therefore, his pace and attacking quality will cause all sorts of problems at Old Trafford later on today, as Andy Robertson looked extremely vulnerable against Serge Gnabry on Tuesday night.

PAUL POGBA

Paul Pogba has come on leaps and bounds since Solskjaer took charge at Manchester United, as he’s taken his goals and assists tally to 14 and 10 respectively.

He really has spearheaded United’s rise under the Norwegian and fans are beginning to warm to him after a rough time of things under Jose Mourinho.

Indeed, the Frenchman’s passing ability could be the key to unlocking Liverpool’s defence, with the pace of Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford giving him plenty of options in behind.
