Real Madrid demand £30m for Manchester City’s prime target

iscoManchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern are bracing themselves for an anxious few days, as they quietly sip their pints and pray that things go their way on the transfer front.

The Daily Mail states that Real Madrid are braced to receive an offer for unhappy playmaker Isco but are demanding at least £30m for the Spaniard’s services.

23-year-old Isco has struggled to earn first-team football under Rafael Benitez this season and is seeking an exit in January, with the Spanish international open to moving to the Premier League and reuniting with Manuel Pellegrini, who he worked with at Malaga.

Manchester City have looked rather lacklustre at times in their quest to snatch the Premier League crown and needed a late spark to overcome Watford yesterday, which put them three points behind current leaders Arsenal.

With things not quite ticking at the Etihad Stadium, fans are hopeful for key additions in January to bolster their chances of success- whilst also hoping the right additions can make them more competitive on the European front.

City fans, how much would you pay to land Isco? Let us know in the comments below!
