Real Madrid make first move to land Bale

bale.jpgIn the least surprising news of possibly the whole month, talkSPORT have claimed that not only has a bid for Gareth Bale been readied by Real Madrid but his agent has also been contacted according to Spanish publication – El Confidencial.

Of course the form that Bale has been in recently has not exactly put off any potential suitors and The Sun reported recently that Andre Villas-Boas claimed that the player is on the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Bale has long been the subject of interest from the Spanish champions and will now be on the end of a £38 million bid in the summer. As our landlord points out, this is not exactly breaking news, but the fact that Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has been contacted and sounded out over a move, is.

Bale is believed to be ready to take the next step in his career and a dream move to Spain would see him do exactly that.

Just as we are digesting this, another piece of news comes in the form of Real Madrid left back Fabio Coentrao, who is believed to forge part of the deal with Jose Mourinho’s side willing to send him to White Hart Lane to soften the blow of the Lilywhites losing Bale.

Are Spurs resigned to losing Bale to Real? And will Coentrao forge part of the deal? Rate this rumour below.
