Southampton fans in the Transfer Tavern will want the side to be improved ahead of the Premier League season following a disappointing campaign.
The Saints just managed to survive the drop following a victory against Swansea City in the penultimate fixture and the locals will want to see improvements made.
Mark Hughes will also be keen to keep his best players at the club this summer and according to Kaveh Solhekol on Twitter, it seems that he is not willing to let one of his loan stars leave the club following an impressive season at Fulham.
The Sky Sports journalist, who has proven to be very reliable over the years, has revealed that the Saints have rejected a £10million offer from Fulham to make the loan switch of Matt Targett.

Following his performances for the Craven Cottage outfit, who he helped get Premier League football through the Play-Offs, Hughes sees the player as a crucial member of his team next season and has him in his future plans.
The defender proved to be a rock for the Londoners and the locals in the Tavern will be hoping that they can see him produce the same performances for them this season.
The 22-year-old is definitely one for the future on the south coast, with Ryan Bertrand the first choice on the left, however, it remains to be seen how much of an impact he can have with the side.
