‘Replace Conte with him’ – Chelsea fans want 39-year-old to be their manager soon

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are busy discussing who they want to be the Chelsea manager next season.

Antonio Conte remains a firm favourite amongst fans, but naturally, his mixed form this season has led to speculation amongst fans that he could be sacked this summer. Whilst that would, undoubtedly, be unpopular amongst some fans, some supporters would certainly behind the idea.

Then, of course, there are a handful of big European names that regularly do the rounds. Everyone from Zinedine Zidane to Max Allegri has been suggested, and whilst it remains to be seen whether the Blues will go down that route, everyone has their choice in that context.

However, one man that has been getting a lot of attention over the last day or so is Jody Morris. The 39-year-old manager just led the Chelsea under-18s to their fifth successive FA Youth Cup triumph, and his fine accomplishments at the helm have not gone unnoticed amongst fans

Indeed, despite his lack of experience leading a top-level team, it appears as though Chelsea supporters would be eager to see him given a chance at the helm at Stamford Bridge. Indeed, over on Twitter, fans have been discussing this prospect in depth, and many feel as though he’d be a great choice – noting, in particular, his connection to the academy.
