Report: Everton in talks over loan deal for £16.2m-rated attacker

Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking forward to seeing what Marco Silva will bring to the side this summer and will be expecting the club to be active in the transfer window.

The Toffees decided to let Sam Allardyce go following their disappointing campaign and replaced him with the Portuguese manager, however, he knows he has a huge task ahead of him to ensure the Goodison Park outfit are capable of pushing for European football.

One man that could depart from the Merseyside club is Yannick Bolasie, with reports in Turkey suggesting he is a target for Fenerbahce this summer. Media outlet Milliyet are claiming the Congo international is wanted on a loan deal and it is understood that talks are underway between the two clubs.

It was once thought that the 29-year-old (valued at £16.2 million by Transfermarkt) was not keen on a move to the Super Lig, however, he has since spoken with Cenk Tosun about what the division is like and seems to have had a change of heart about the prospect.

Landlord’s Verdict

Bolasie seems to have had a difficult time at Goodison Park over the course of last year throughout his recovery from a lengthy injury. The locals in the bar have been critical of the former Crystal Palace winger and many will feel that he does not have a future with the Toffees, although they are hoping he can prove his doubters wrong next season.
