Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern will not know what to make about the latest rumours surrounding their club, with different things being reported on a daily basis.
One of the latest things the Toffees have had to endure is that Wayne Rooney is expected to be on his way out of Goodison Park this summer as he is believed to be joining DC United in the MLS.
However, a report in the Daily Mirror is claiming that the former England international could be set to stop that from happening and remaining at his boyhood club, but on one condition. It has been suggested that he will look to stay with Everton should Sam Allardyce leave instead, who himself does not see the 32-year-old as part of his plans.
The Everton fans in the Tavern will not know what to make of all the news coming out of Goodison Park, however, a number of the locals will know what they would do if they were in that position.
A number of the punters, despite being disappointed with his return, would love to keep Rooney at the club, whilst the majority in the bar would be calling for Allardyce to leave having become disillusioned with the performances he gets from his side.
A tough decision will need to be made by Farhad Moshiri, however, the locals will know what they will be urging the majority shareholder to do in the summer.
