Rangers fans here in the Tavern will be desperate to see a number of changes made this summer, with Steven Gerrard looking to secure silverware and success next season.
Indeed, the Bluenoses will be looking to challenge bitter rivals Celtic next season after failing to compete last time out, as the Hoops secured the treble without any real pressure. Although, it looks as if Rangers are already looking to bolster their squad, as according to Sun Sport, Steven Gerrard is raiding Liverpool to sign Ovie Ejaria.
Attacking midfielder Ovie Ejaria, can move out again and Gerrard expects to tie up the formalities this week.
Interestingly, the Bluenoses want to bring the 20-year-old up to speed for their crucial European qualifiers next month.
The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield and spent the second half of the season on loan at Sunderland, but not even he could manage to save The Black Cats’ season as they suffered relegation.
The midfielder looked very impressive during the second half of the season as he often delivered a quality performance, with skill and pace being two of his most dangerous assets. So, it looks as if Gerrard is making great use of his Premier League links, as the midfielder has already shown signs of brilliance at such a young age.
