Tottenham Hotspur fans in the Transfer Tavern will be concerned that they will be in a for a tough time over the summer as their key men are being lined up by some of Europe’s greatest.
Mauricio Pochettino is one of those that has been courted about a possible move, with Real Madrid looking to appoint a new manager following the shock departure of Zinedine Zidane on Thursday.
However, it will be difficult for Los Blancos to lure the former Southampton boss to the Santiago Bernabeu as the Argentine has only just signed a fresh five-year contract to remain at White Hart Lane.
The Daily Mail are claiming that the new deal does not have a buy-out clause inserted within it, whilst there is no verbal agreement with Daniel Levy, should the Spanish giants come calling.
The chairman is known to have a firm stance when it comes to his key personnel and the locals will be hoping he continues to remain tough.
The Tottenham fans in the Tavern will feel that Pochettino will stay in north London following his recent decision to sign the new deal, however, some will be concerned that the opportunity to manage one of the world’s best sides could be too hard to turn down.
