Everton fans here in the Tavern will be praying that their side can secure a European spot next season, as Marco Silva will be looking to hit the ground running.
Indeed, the Toffees managed to enjoy a successful second half of the season but they did flirt with the possibility of relegation towards the start. And, it looks as if Everton could lose one of their star men this summer, as according to Sun Sport, Bayern Munich will scout Jordan Pickford at the World Cup later on this month.
Bayern Munich will watch England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford at the World Cup, with Manuel Neuer’s future currently surrounded with doubt.
It’s believed that the German giants have sent scouts out to check on the goalkeeper over the past few months as part of their search for the next big thing between the sticks.
Importantly, Everton would want to double their money on Pickford but Bayern could splash out, especially if a buyer emerges for Neuer.
The Toffees will be desperate to hold onto the Englishman this summer after witnessing his brilliance this season, but they could face difficulties with a move to a club like Bayern possibly being too hard to turn down. So, Marco Silva could potentially encounter his first problem at Goodison Park in the near future, with Bayern Munich possibly making a move for the goalkeeper after the World Cup.
