Newcastle United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be expecting their side to strengthen over the summer, however, they could be set to lose out on one of their main targets.

The media outlet are stating that Benitez’s chances of making Kenedy’s move from Chelsea permanent are appearing to recede, with clubs that have Champions League football rumoured to be interested in the Brazilian.
The Newcastle fans in the Tavern will be disappointed that their chances of bringing Kenedy to the North-East on a permanent deal seem unlikely, having impressed during his short stay with the Magpies.
The 22-year-old was an influential figure for the Toon Army during the second half of the campaign and a number of the locals will feel he was one of their best players.
Some will not be surprised by the news that there is a huge amount of interest from clubs within European football tracking his status but will be hoping the club do not miss out on any other possible transfer targets this summer.
