Report: Nuno looks to continue Wolves rebuild with speedy Barcelona graduate

Wolverhampton Wanderers fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited for the return of Premier League football at Molineux this season and will be hoping that their team performs well.

Nuno Espirito Santo has been hugely ambitious this summer with his transfer targets and has already managed to convince Raul Jimenez and Rui Patricio to join him, whilst it is thought he is prepared to try and bring Juan Quintero as well.

Another name the Portuguese manager is thought to be considering is Middlesbrough’s Adama Traore, according to a report in The Sun.

It is believed the Riverside Stadium outfit will be prepared to let their star winger leave and Wolves have been put on high-alert about the situation. It is thought that the Spaniard has a release clause of £18million and Nuno is keen to add pace to his squad.

Wolves will need to compete with Huddersfield Town for the former Barcelona graduate, however, the ambition shown by the Molineux outfit could persuade the 22-year-old to join them rather than the Terriers.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Wolves fans in the Tavern will be pleased with the work that Nuno has already done this summer and would be delighted to see Traore join up with them. The winger would definitely add some much-needed pace down the flanks and would make the Molineux outfit a more attacking force and one for Premier League defences to take notice of.
