Report: Pellegrini facing trouble getting players to join him at West Ham

West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited about the new era they are facing under Manuel Pellegrini, however, it appears that they may have hit a snag.

The Chilean has been busy trying to bring in a number of targets since he was appointed as the new Hammers boss and has been fairly successful in the early days of making additions.

He has already signed Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks and is looking at adding the likes of Bernard and Felipe Anderson to the mix as well.

However, according to a report in The Times, the new boss could be facing a few problems in trying to convince some players to join him for his project at the London Stadium.

It has been claimed that the Hammers are facing difficulty in trying to bring Anderson from SS Lazio, whilst Fulham’s Tom Cairney has signed a new deal to remain at Craven Cottage and the Irons have missed out on Javier Pastore as he decided a move to AS Roma would be better.

Landlord’s Verdict

The West Ham fans in the Tavern will be hoping this is just a slight blip and will not affect their efforts to try and bring other players to the side. Pellegrini is thought to want to bring in a few more players and the locals will be hopeful those deals can be done relatively easily, including the one for Anderson.
