Report: Pellegrini ready to continue reshuffle and bring old friend to West Ham

West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be excited about life under Manuel Pellegrini and could see him make a number of changes over the course of the summer.

The former Manchester City manager was named as the new head of the London Stadium outfit early last week after David Moyes departed following the end of his contract.

The locals in the bar were delighted with the appointment of the 64-year-old Chilean, as it shows that the club does have the ambition and hope that he will bring an attractive style of play to the club in the upcoming season.

Punters will also be hoping he can use his name to lure some of the game’s top talents, and Pellegrini will have helped his cause by bringing one of his trusted confidants to the club with him.

The London Evening Standard have revealed that the Hammers are set to announce the arrival of Mario Husillos as their new head of recruitment.

Landlord’s Verdict

The pair have a successful history working together during their time at La Liga outfit Malaga and the locals will be hoping they can be as successful in the capital.

Pellegrini is bound to have a number of ambitious targets this summer and Husillos arrival should help him try to bring some of them to the London Stadium as he looks to try and take West Ham to a place in European football.
