Report: Potential transfer blow for Liverpool emerges despite strong start in the market

Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern will be looking forward to seeing who Jurgen Klopp brings to Anfield this summer as they look to bounce back from their Champions League defeat.

The Reds have been busy in the transfer window already, having secured Fabinho and Naby Keita already, although they are considered to be far from finished in their plans for recruitment.

It is no secret that the club will be targeting a new goalkeeper, especially after the horror-show displayed by Loris Karius, whilst they are also interested in bringing Nabil Fekir from Olympique de Lyonnais to bolster their attack.

Le Parisian have offered an update on the situation about the forward, claiming that Liverpool have made an offer of 60 million euros, however, it is expected to be rejected by the Ligue One outfit.

Landlord’s Verdict

The Liverpool fans in the Tavern will be hoping the club can get a deal done before the World Cup as his value is expected to go higher should he have a solid campaign with the France national side.

Fekir is a highly-talented attacker that has been garnering interest from a host of clubs, however, Liverpool look to be in the driving seat and will make them an even more attacking threat to defences across Europe and the Premier League.
