Report: West Ham weighing up transfer move that could gift Pellegrini a trophy

West Ham United fans here in the Tavern weren’t too pleased with how their side performed in the last campaign. Although, they will put themselves in great stead if they secure a couple of quality players over the course of the summer.

Manuel Pellegrini will be desperate to see his side perform well in the next campaign after taking over from David Moyes, with many of our local residents crying out for some silverware. Although, the Hammers have been given the chance to sign a former player, as according to Sun Sport, West Ham United are considering buying Dimitri Payet back.

West Ham are considering re-signing Dimitri Payet this summer as the Frenchman has been offered to them.

Indeed, his current club Marseille want to offload him due to financial pressures, so a move back to the London Stadium may be in the offing.

And, West Ham’s hierarchy may be willing to do business and Manuel Pellegrini has canvassed his squad about it.

Landlord’s Verdict:

So, West Ham United are contemplating whether to move for the Frenchman having been offered the chance to sign him this summer. And, if the Hammers decide to sign him then Pellegrini may be able to secure a trophy during his first season in charge, as Payet was sensational during his time at the London Stadium and could definitely take them to the next level along with all their other signings.
