Wolverhampton Wanderers fans here in the Tavern are hoping that their side can secure a top-half finish next season, with a lot of movement expected over the course of the summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be looking to work his magic in the Premier League next season after dominating proceedings in the Championship. Although, it looks as if the Midlands club are receiving interest on the transfer front, as according to Sun Sport, Stoke City are chasing Benik Afobe, with Wolves weighing up whether to sell him for profit immediately.
The Premier League newcomers took up their £12.5 million option to buy Benik Afobe from Bournemouth after last season’s loan.
But, it’s believed that Championship side Stoke City want to sign the Congo international, with Gary Rowett interested.
And, Wolves are understood to be weighing up whether to sell the 25-year-old for profit immediately after welcoming him to Molineux on a permanent deal just two days ago.
Wolves could look to sell Benik Afobe this summer, a man who has established himself as a fan favourite during his time at Molineux. Many of our local residents are extremely shocked by the news, as they believed that the striker had guaranteed himself Premier League football next season. However, he could be on his way out the exits in the near future, with Stoke City interested.
