Wolverhampton Wanderers fans here in the Tavern are still celebrating promotion to the Premier League, with aims of securing a top-half finish next season.
Indeed, Wolves will be confident heading into the new campaign, but they will need to strengthen over the course of the summer transfer window. It’s believed that Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning a shock £4 million bid for Leeds United’s highly-rated goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell. And, it’s claimed that the newly-promoted side also want to bring Portuguese international Rui Patricio to the club.
John Ruddy received a lot of criticism last season for a number of unforced errors that he made at key times in matches, so many of our local residents will be delighted to hear that Wolves are looking at bringing in two ‘keepers.
So, with Wolves eyeing a double swoop to bring both Rui Patricio and Bailey Peacock-Farrell to the club, it looks as if John Ruddy is now out of the picture. Many of our local residents are absolutely delighted with the news as they believe that this will make them much stronger next season.
