Report: Wolves interested in talented ace but could fall to Premier League rivals

Wolverhampton Wanderers will look to continue their impressive transfer window this summer and fans will be delighted with the ambition being shown by their side.

Nuno Espirito Santo is keen to make a number of additions to his squad as they prepare for life in the Premier League and the locals will be delighted with the arrivals of Willy Boly on a permanent deal, Rui Patricio and Raul Jimenez.

There has been suggestions that Wolves will look to try and remain ambitious in the transfer market and according to reports in the Daily Mail, the Portuguese boss has his eye on another talented youngster.

It is being claimed that Nuno is keen on bringing Celtic’s Kieran Tierney to Molineux and will be prepared to fight with Everton for the signature of the left-back. The 21-year-old has proven to be a solid player for the Bhoys, who will be desperate not to lose him, and it is believed Wolves will stump up a huge £25million fee to sign him.

The report is, however, suggesting that Molineux may not be a destination the Scotland international see’s himself at and that could harm Nuno’s chances of bringing him south of the border.

Landlord’s Verdict

Wolves fans in the Tavern will be delighted with the names that the club have been linked with in recent times and will be hopeful they can continue to add the types of names they have already managed to sign.

A deal for Tierney, however, would look unlikely, as it appears that he may have a preference for Everton, rather than join them at Molineux, however, stranger things in football have happened and the locals will be hopeful that Nuno can convince him to join them if given the chance.
