Robert Snodgrass expected to be fit for Tottenham clash

West Ham United will look to get a positive result against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend when the Premier League resumes.

The Hammers will host their fierce London rivals at the London Stadium and could be about to have a timely boost to their selection process.

According to a report by the London Evening Standard, Manuel Pellegrini is confident that Robert Snodgrass will be fit for the game against Spurs on Saturday.

The Scotland international had to withdraw from the national squad with an ankle injury and made his return to the capital.

However, it is not believed to be too serious and the 31-year-old is expected to be available for selection when Tottenham come to visit.

The Verdict:

The winger’s availability for the game against Spurs will be great news for the Hammers.

Snodgrass has started to enjoy himself at the London Stadium under Pellegrini, and despite rarely starting the game, he has been used from the substitute’s bench with some effect.

West Ham will be looking to get back to their impressive showings as of late and a match against an injury-ravaged Tottenham side could be what they need to get back to winning ways.
