Just the moment Barcelona FC have expressed their desire to sign Robinho, the Brazilian and Manchester City striker, the player is already willing to make a move, once he gets a chance to sign for the European champions. The young Brazilian striker, who had been signed by the Eastlands during 2008, has never produced the quality of football that was expected from him for the Manchester club.
With the signings of Arsenal’s Emanuel Adebayor and Manchester United’s Carlos Tevez, Manchester City really does not need to worry about the strikers, who they have upfront. However, one thing is obvious that Robinho does not want to fight for his place and expects to get selected every time his side plays. According to some reports in Spain, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola is a huge fan of the Brazilian striker and would love to have him in his side. He is even ready to swap Thierry Henry for the Brazilian.
Now, one needs to see if Mark Hughes does have Robinho in his plans till the winter transfer window opens. For the striker, he is already fantasizing the opportunity of playing for the European champions with some of the great players like Lionel Messi, Xavi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
