That’s because Antonio Conte’s links with a potential move to Inter Milan refuse to go away. Despite a wonderful campaign in west London, the 47-year-old has constantly been touted for a move to the San Siro.
So, reports from the Daily Mail have certainly shed some light on the matter. They claim that, while the Nerazurri are reportedly preparing a contract offer, Stamford Bridge owner Roman Abramovich is set to offer the 47-year-old a new deal.
Indeed, Conte is believed to be excited about the notion of challenging in the Champions League and is said to be demanding more control over transfers both in and out of the club.
For his part, Abramovich is understood to be unwilling to grant that right now, with Inter thought to be ready to appoint some of Conte’s most trusted staff over the years in an attempt to take him to Italy.
