Ronaldo issues ultimatum and boosts chances of Man United return

ronaldo88Manchester United fans are declaring this could be the greatest week in their recent history, with suggestions of a top-signing ahead of a game this weekend that could put them top of the Premier League.

Following Real Madrid’s disastrous El Clasico this weekend, where they were drubbed 4-0 by Barcelona, The Telegraph states Cristiano Ronaldo has issued an ultimatum to Real president Florentino Perez.

The defeat for Los Blancos sent shockwaves throughout the world and pressure has increased vastly upon manager Rafael Benitez, with Ronaldo adding fuel to the fire by stating if the Spaniard does not leave then he will.

Comments from Ronaldo were reportedly made in the dressing room to team-mates after the embarrassing defeat to their Catalan rivals, which left Real trailing Barcelona in the table by six points and also allowed Atletico Madrid to leapfrog them into second-spot.

Real Madrid have a notorious record with replacing managers, sensationally working their way through 13 bosses in a 15 year spell. This time around though, Florentino Perez is also earning his fair share of criticism.

United fans at the bar are enjoying the disastrous situations in Madrid, as they believe it will help their own transfer ambitions, but the staff have reminded them of the threat Paris Saint-Germain pose in the race for Ronaldo’s signature.
