Manchester City simply have to secure all three points against Arsenal tomorrow if they are to stand any chance of chasing down Liverpool, after losing to Newcastle last time out.
The Citizens were dominant prior to their midweek defeat at St James’ Park, so Pep Guardiola will be hoping that his side can rediscover some of that form at the Etihad tomorrow.
Interestingly, the defending Premier League champions waved goodbye to an impressive youngster recently, as according to Stoke City’s official website, Stoke City have signed Ryan Corrigan.
Indeed, the 18-year-old has featured eight times this season in the U18 Premier League for City, but he has now sealed a permanent move to Stoke City.
The Republic of Ireland youth international has been very impressive in the youth ranks this season at left-back, producing three assists, but he will now be looking to work his way into Stoke’s first-team squad.
Ryan Corrigan was never going to be able to break into City’s first-team squad any time soon, despite the Citizens being in need of a left-back at this moment in time.
But, the teenager has a bright future ahead of him, so City may regret letting another youngster depart. The youngster has already displayed his quality at left-back in the youth ranks this season, so a strong second half of the season at Stoke could secure him a place in their first-team.
