Sarri must turn to Hazard and Kante today

Chelsea have struggled in recent times as they found themselves on the receiving end of a thumping from Manchester City and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United.

However, the Blues have the opportunity to get revenge on the Citizens later on today as they’ll face up against Pep Guardiola’s side in the final of the Carabao Cup. Indeed, City have been extremely dominant in recent times and they’ll feel extremely confident after the 6-0 thrashing at the Etihad, so Chelsea will need to be at their best.

Nevertheless, with the opportunity to secure silverware later on today, Chelsea will lift the Carabao Cup if Maurizio Sarri gets the best out of this DUO

Eden Hazard has been the standout performer for Chelsea in all competitions in the current campaign, with an impressive 15 goals and 10 assists to his name at this moment in time.

The Belgian played a huge part in the second leg of the Blues’ semi-final tie with Tottenham Hotspur, so he’ll be Maurizio Sarri’s go-to man later on today at Wembley Stadium.

Indeed, City will find it extremely difficult to deal with the Belgian if he manages to hit top form as he’s already managed to score three goals in the competition, with his pace, finishing and creativity proving too much to handle.

N’Golo Kante is arguably one of the best midfielders in the whole of world football with his performances in the current campaign proving invaluable up until this point.

The Frenchman has developed his game in the final third this season as he’s starting to provide valuable contributions, so he’ll be looking to have an impact in all areas of the field.

A big problem for Chelsea against the Citizens at the Etihad in the Premier League was keeping their midfield three under wraps, so Kante’s tackling and ability to intercept will be vital.
